Scribe Software Reports Strongest Q1 To Date

Increased Adoption of Key Business Processes in Cloud Drives Global Need for Integration Across Industries

Bedford, NH — May 3, 2011 – Scribe Software, a leading data integration provider, announced solid results for its first quarter, ending March 31st, 2011. In an arguably recovering economy, Scribe experienced almost 20 percent growth in sales Q1 2011 over Q1 2010 — enterprise business alone doubled in the same time period — and 30 percent growth March 2011 over March 2010.

"Our Q1 results validate our partner model, cloud strategy, and teamwork," said Lou Guercia, CEO and president of Scribe Software, and a recently elected member of the Software & Information Industry Association’s board of directors. "When I started with Scribe in June 2010, our number one goal was growth and that’s exactly what we’re doing. We’re strengthening our established services while moving into the cloud. We’re expanding overseas as well as in North America. We’re winning more deals, and we’re hiring more people. We’re building on a decade of success with innovation in our technology and investment in our development."

Scribe Online Adoption
Earlier this month, Scribe announced its new cloud-based platform and its inaugural service, Scribe Online Replication Services. More than 20 of Scribe’s partners are already using the flexible Scribe Online framework for creating, packaging, and distributing data integration solutions.

"We now have the right team in place to accelerate Scribe’s growth, not only in the United States, but also internationally," said Ben Coes, a partner at The Mustang Group and a member of Scribe’s board of directors. "Integration will continue to be the key to businesses moving core applications into the cloud and onto mobile devices. There is a big potential upside for experienced and forward-thinking integration solution platform providers such as Scribe."

International Expansion
Globally, Scribe is expanding its market share as evidenced by 30 percent growth in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) in 2010, followed by major deals in the United Kingdom and South Africa in the first quarter of 2011. Asia Pacific is keeping pace with major Q1 ‘11 deals in Australia.

Partner and Customer Success
Scribe signed nearly 100 new partners and 1,000 new customers in the last year. In Q1 2011, new resellers specializing in the Microsoft Dynamics line and Salesforce.com in EMEA and Asia Pacific signed with Scribe. The company won new customers worldwide in the same time period, primarily in the financial services, manufacturing, professional services, nonprofit, high tech, and healthcare sectors.

Local Growth
Headquartered in Bedford, New Hampshire, Scribe is a positive force in the local economy. In the past year, the company has hired 30 percent more employees, doubling the size of its engineering team in the process. As a result, Scribe also doubled the size of its office space in Q1 2011.
