Prerequisite: Scribe Certification Training
This training is offered in a classroom setting. Contact Scribe for training dates.
This course is designed for technical consultants who implement integrations using Scribe Insight. Through instructor lead discussion and hands-on labs, the students will learn the best practices for building one-way and two-way integrations. Microsoft Dynamics® CRM is used as the use-case for hands-on labs and some course materials will center on specific integration methodologies with Dynamics CRM, but the course content is wholly applicable in any business–case solution. Students completing this course will have a thorough understanding of the integration design patterns and features Scribe uses when building its own integration templates with Scribe Insight. This is a full two day course.
The suggested prerequisites for students is to have completed Scribe’s Level I Certification Training and have familiarity with the Scribe Adapters for Microsoft Dynamics. Prior field experience implementing integrations with Scribe Insight will be helpful in understanding the concepts in this course.
The training progresses from more simple use cases to more complex throughout the course using a variety of common business case scenarios. A broad outline is as follows:
Typically, Scribe will reserve space at a Microsoft office to conduct the training, but have also delivered the training from hotel meeting rooms as well as on-site at a partner’s facility. The only space requirements are, 1 seat per student to accommodate a laptop and training materials. Students arrive with a laptop, minimum of 4 gig of RAM (more is preferable) and Microsoft VPC 2007 installed. Scribe supplies training materials that include a course workbook, hands-on exercises, a portable drive with the virtual machines, and the training PowerPoint™ slides. Scribe also requires a minimum of five students per class. The five can be a combination of multiple partners’ consultants or a single partner’s consultants. Room size will dictate the maximum class size.
